I ended a friendship, last October, with someone who was my best friend for over a decade.
Tonight at 8:39pm, Facebook sent me an email notifying me that I need to confirm her as a friend.
I had legitimate issues; more that I would tell anyone except for Dave, but ultimately the demise of this relationship was that we grew up and grew apart.
sigh
Anyway, I didn't let it sit in my email for two weeks, like in February.
I signed into Facebook, then signed out.
See, I shared too much with her because I trusted her and that just isn't easy for me to do. Sometimes I still want to call her,
but then I remember "the issues"
I signed back in 10 minutes later and hit the ignore button.
I'm sorry Facebook, I couldn't confirm her as a friend.
